Welcome to the IQRA Leadership Academy Certification program. We are excited to announce the launch of a professional leadership development and training program for Full-Time Islamic School staff and parents and Weekend Islamic School staff and parents. Our purpose is to prepare visionary leaders with demonstrated potential to fill the need that exists within our Islamic Schools. Our mission is to help nurture the growth and support the leadership potential of educators to improve the achievement of all students through the implementation of research based practices in organizational management, school governance, and effective teaching and learning. We aim to offer parents with the necessary information and skills to provide a strong, stable and positive learning environment that supports the school’s mission and is grounded in Islamic values. A collaboration of seasoned experts with over 100 years of experience will provide comprehensive learning experiences for practitioners and parents that will be directly applicable and have immediate and lasting impact.

Because of the great demand to meet the needs of Islamic Schools throughout the USA, programs will initially be offered to accommodate the various areas of interest, schedules, and budgets of fulltime and weekend Islamic School principals and aspiring school leaders. Educators like you, who come from diverse professional backgrounds, with varied levels of experience and unique skill sets, all with the sincere intent to serve the needs of the Islamic Schools and Muslim community, will benefit from the shared experiences of many. The program is challenging, yet practical, for working educators who choose to pursue this career path and add the area of certification to their credentials.

The program benefits include the following:

• Certificate of Completion from “IQRA Academy”
• A professional school visit with on-site mentoring for 2 days by a lead trainer and expert in the field
• Phone support for 5 hours per month for 12 months, by an expert in the field
• Access to a monthly publication full of advice and resources
• Shadow a certified school leader for 2 days.
